370 Being Revoked: Director Ram Kamal Mukherjee Hails Centre’s Decision
The Indian government on Monday scrapped Article 370 of the Constitution that gives special status to Jammu and Kashmir. Several celebrities from different entertainment industry hailed centre’s decision.

Director Ram Kamal Mukherjee also celebrated the decision and tweeted, “Celebrating with India, abolishment of #Article370 #Artical35A in #JammuAndKashmir I pray for peace, harmony, love and brotherhood in all states. Jai Hind. 🇮🇳 #OneIndia.” He has also shared a picture in the tweet.


The bill has not yet passed as it is to be presented in the Lok Sabha. The entire Valley is under curfew and political leaders, including former chief ministers Mehbooba Mufti, Omar, and Farooq Abdullah, were detained after being put under house arrest.

On Monday, Rajya Sabha witnessed ruckus as soon as Home Minister Amit Shah proposed the revocation of Article 370.

Meanwhile, Ram Kamal Mukherjee’s directed short film ‘Cakewalk’ has been officially selected at the Indian Festival of Cincinati at USA. Ram Kamal Mukherjee is busy with his fourth short film ‘Broken Frames’. Ritabhari Chakraborty will be leading opposite Rohit Roy.
